First report of three new Fusarium species isolated from garden soil in southern Iran
Fifty Fusarium isolates were obtained from 20 garden soil samples in Hormozgan province (S Iran). The isolates were identified based on morphological and molecular data. Sequence data were generated for TEF-1αgene, following PCR amplification. Among the identified species, Fusariummangiferae, F.gaditjirrii, and F. decemcellularerepresent new records to the mycobiota of Iran.

Prothemenops irineae sp. n., P. khirikhan sp. n. and P. phanthurat sp. n. are described from males and females collected in the Thai provinces of Prachuap Khiri Khan and Phetchaburi. Three new species of the huntsman spider genus Sinopoda Jäger, 1999, collected from Sichuan Province and Chongqing Municipality, P. R. China, are described: Sinopoda cochlearia sp. nov. (male, female), S. globosa sp. nov. (male, female) and S. longiducta sp. nov. (male, female). All three new species were collected from native forest by hand.
